SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS FULL DAY

Pickup from your hotel will take place approximately at 7:30 a.m. to begin our journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we will have the opportunity to explore Andean villages that, to this day, keep alive the customs and traditions of past eras.

Our first stop will be at the impressive ruins of Pisac, an archaeological site that combines agricultural terraces and ceremonial centers with a privileged view of the valley. In this same place, we will visit the typical Pisac artisan market, where you will find a wide variety of handicrafts: scarves, canvases, rings, silverware, and much more.

We will continue our journey to Urubamba, capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch with the best of local Andean gastronomy. After savoring the region’s typical dishes, we will head to Ollantaytambo, an imposing Inca fortress that houses beautiful temples dedicated to water, the sun, and other Andean deities. The town of Ollantaytambo, with its cobblestone streets and water channels, breathes a deep Andean mysticism.

Our final stop will be Chinchero, known as the “land of the Rainbow.” This is the highest point of our tour, where we will learn about Inca textiles and the traditional dyeing processes of fibers. Finally, we will begin our return journey to the city of Cusco.
