Maras Moray and Salt Mines Full Day

Itinerary

We will begin with pickup from your respective accommodations to start our tour of Maras, Moray, and Salineras. We will board our vehicle heading to the town of Chinchero, where we will have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in Inca textile art. We will visit a weaving center that showcases the ancestral techniques used since the time of the Incas.

We will then continue our route to the next destination: Moray, an experimental agricultural center where the Incas acclimatized various crops such as potatoes and corn, taking advantage of the microclimates generated by its circular terraces. Continuing our journey, we will arrive at the famous salt mines of Salineras, an impressive landscape composed of over 3,000 stepped ponds that are still used for salt extraction today.

Finally, the return to the city of Cusco is scheduled for approximately 2:00 p.m.
